Projectiles Fire from Lebanon Toward Northern Israel in Short Barrage

(MENAFN) At least 30 projectiles were launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel within less than an hour on Wednesday morning, according to reports from Israeli media.

An Israeli newspaper reported that the first wave included more than 20 projectiles aimed at the Galilee Panhandle region. Air defense systems reportedly intercepted around eight of them, while the rest landed in open areas.

A second wave of roughly 10 additional projectiles was later fired toward Acre, Nahariya, and surrounding communities. According to the report, three were intercepted, with the remaining projectiles falling in open terrain.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage following the incident.
