Expert claims LGBTQ agenda forced on Moldova by NATO
He claimed that LGBTQ symbolism is being used by NATO to sway Moldovan society and suggested that the bloc’s broader goal is to provoke anti-Russian sentiment and undermine Orthodox Christian traditions. Gajic also accused Moldovan President Maia Sandu’s administration of following Western directives without critical consideration, describing them as bureaucrats rather than true leaders.
Gajic argued that such tactics are not new, having been seen in other post-Soviet states over the past two decades, which he alleged were orchestrated with the help of Western intelligence services like the CIA.
Despite the pride event being unauthorized, Moldovan police reportedly allowed it to proceed, while responding forcefully to Orthodox Christian counter-protesters. Viral videos from the event showed law enforcement officers allegedly shoving a priest and detaining a man holding a child.
The confrontations reportedly began when anti-LGBTQ demonstrators attempted to cross police barricades. Several arrests were made, and the opposition Revival Party leader Natalya Paraska condemned the police’s actions.
