Houthis reaffirm support for Palestine, opposition to Israel, US
(MENAFN) The Houthi movement reiterated its strong support for the Palestinian cause and its opposition to Israel and the United States during Ashura commemorations. Leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi declared that the group will "spare no effort in confronting the enemy with our brothers in the axis of resistance and Jihad."
He emphasized that Houthi forces will persist in carrying out ballistic missile strikes against Israel until the military campaign in Gaza ceases and the blockade restricting food supplies to Palestinians is lifted.
Since November 2023, the Houthis have launched long-range drones and ballistic missiles targeting Israel, expressing solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
